Keyboard shortcuts let you confirm segments, pull in suggestions, and move around a file without reaching for the mouse. This article lists every shortcut currently available in the wxrks Editor.

Press Ctrl + / (Windows) or Command + / (Mac) anywhere in the Editor, or click the Help icon in the top bar, to open the full list on screen — useful as a quick reference without leaving the file you're working on.

On Mac, use Command in place of Ctrl for every shortcut below unless a Mac-specific key is called out — the in-app list adapts automatically. Three shortcuts are the exception and use the same keys (Ctrl/Alt) on both Windows and Mac: NNBSP, Toggle LTR box, and Select Word.

You need to click into the first segment you want to confirm before Ctrl + Enter will start working through the file segment by segment.

The wxrks assistant shortcut opens the same panel where you can review translation-smell suggestions and Augmented Actions.

When a segment needs more than one tag inserted mid-text, press Copy next tag (Ctrl + I) repeatedly — the first press inserts the first tag, the next press inserts the second, and so on until every tag has been placed.

An NBSP looks like a normal space in the Editor and in most text editors — it only becomes visible in tools like Visual Studio Code, and usually only with an extension that displays non-breaking-space characters. An NNBSP is a narrower variant of the same idea, used where a full space is visually too wide (for example, before certain punctuation in French).

Not listed in the in-app shortcuts modal above, but still standard text-entry behavior in the segment field: Shift + Enter inserts a manual line break within a segment.
