wxrks' Editor spell checker underlines misspelled words directly in the target segment as you translate, using a dedicated word list for each supported language and locale. This article is a reference: the full A-Z list of every language and locale code the spell checker currently recognizes.
💡 Who is this for? This guide is for Linguists, Reviewers, and Project Managers who need to confirm whether a specific language or regional variant has spell check support in wxrks.
How to Read This List
Each entry shows the language (and, where relevant, its regional variant) followed by its locale code, for example fr-ca for French (Canada).
Some codes are marked with an asterisk and a short note like reads from fr-fr. This means that specific locale doesn't have its own separate word list — it automatically reuses the word list of the code named right after it. For example, French (Canada) reads from French (France), so spell check for fr-ca uses the same word list as fr-fr.
If you don't see a language or a specific regional variant below, spell check isn't currently available for it in the Editor — see Spellcheck in the Editor for what happens on unsupported languages and how to turn spell check on or off for your own view.
