An Organization is the entity that owns your Price Lists, Translation Memories, and Glossaries, and groups the Organizational Units that actually run projects. This article covers the Organization page itself — how to create one, what each of its tabs does, and how to delete one — not the full Account → Organization → Organizational Unit hierarchy, which Accounts, Organizations and Organizational Units already covers in depth.
💡 Who is this for? This guide is for the Account Admin who needs to create, configure, and maintain Organizations within the wxrks platform.
Creating an Organization
Open Organizations in the sidebar, then Organizations again, and click Add Organization. The form asks for three things:
Name — the Organization's full name.
Country — where the main Organization is located.
Organizational Units — optionally attach one or more existing Organizational Units right away, or add them later from the Organization's own Associations tab.
Click Create and you land straight on the new Organization's page.
The Organizations list
The Organizations list shows every Organization in your account: its logo, name, a count of users and Organizational Units, and its country flag. Use the filter above the list to search by name, and click any row to open that Organization.
The Organization page
Opening an Organization shows six tabs: Information, Associations, Prices, Hierarchy View, MT Settings, and Custom Fields. Which of these you see depends on your permissions — MT Settings in particular only appears for an Account Admin.
Information
The Information tab is the Organization's landing page. It shows and lets you edit the same Name and Country you set at creation — click Save after any change.
Associations
The Associations tab manages which Organizational Units and which users belong to this Organization. Search for an existing Organizational Unit or user and click Add Organizational Unit / Add User to attach it; remove an existing association the same way.
A user added here at the Organization level gets visibility into every Organizational Unit under it — a narrower alternative is to add that same user directly to just one Organizational Unit instead, so their access doesn't extend to the whole Organization. Prices
The Prices tab lists the Price Lists linked to this Organization, with Add and Delete buttons above the table. A Price List has to be linked to the Organization here before it can also be linked to one of the Organization's Organizational Units — it isn't usable in a project until both links exist.

Hierarchy View
The Hierarchy View tab draws a box diagram of this Organization and every Organizational Unit that belongs to it, with zoom controls below. It's a read-only map — use it to spot-check the structure, not to edit it.
MT Settings
Visible only to an Account Admin, the MT Settings tab sets a default Machine Translation provider for every project under this Organization, and lets you override that default for specific language pairs with Add Lang Pair. wxrks applies whichever setting is most specific: a language-pair override here first, then this Organization's default, then falling back to the Account's own MT configuration if neither is set.

Custom Fields
The Custom Fields tab shows values for whatever custom metadata fields your account has defined for the Organization entity. If your account hasn't created any yet, this tab is empty. See All About Custom Fields for how to define one.
Deleting an Organization
If your role has permission to delete Organizations, an Actions menu appears in the top-right corner of the Organization page, with a Delete organization permanently option.
Deleting an Organization is permanent and cannot be undone. Before it lets you proceed, wxrks asks you to review an impact summary of everything tied to the Organization, then requires you to type the Organization's exact name to confirm — there's no way to recover it afterward, so use this only when you're certain the Organization (and everything under it) should be removed.
Glossaries and Translation Memories
Glossaries and Translation Memories aren't tabs on the Organization page, but both are created inside one Organization and can never be moved to a different one afterward. From there, they can be linked to any number of Organizational Units that share that same parent Organization — but never across two different Organizations.
