This article explains how to change your wxrks plan, update your payment method, or cancel your subscription — all from one place in your account settings.

💡 Who is this for? This guide is for Account Admins who need to manage their wxrks plan, payment method, or subscription status within the wxrks platform.

Go to Settings, then Account Settings, then open the Usage tab. (See All about Settings for a map of every other tab in this menu.) At the top of the Usage tab, your account card shows your account name and current status, next to three buttons: Manage Plan, Update Payment Method, and Cancel Account.

All three buttons open Stripe — the secure billing platform wxrks uses to process payments — in a new browser tab, each one scoped to that specific task. If your browser blocks pop-ups, allow pop-ups for wxrks or look for a blocked pop-up notice in your address bar; see Troubleshooting below.

Click Manage Plan to change your plan tier or adjust your word allocation. This opens Stripe's subscription editor in a new tab, where you can review your options and confirm a change before it takes effect — nothing changes in wxrks until you confirm the update inside that Stripe screen.

wxrks' current plans are priced by annual word volume, with monthly and annual billing options (annual billing includes a discount). wxrks.com/pricing is the authoritative source for current plan names, pricing, and trial terms — as of this writing it lists a free 14-day trial with no credit card required. Because plans and pricing can change, check that page directly rather than relying on figures quoted elsewhere.

Click Update Payment Method to add or replace the card or bank account wxrks bills for your subscription. This opens directly to Stripe's payment method screen for an account with an active subscription — wxrks currently accepts cards and US bank accounts. Your payment details are entered and stored directly with Stripe; wxrks does not see or store your card or bank account number.

As with Manage Plan, an account without an active subscription yet (for example, a trial that hasn't added billing information) sees Stripe's general sign-in screen first instead of the payment form directly.

Click Cancel Account to end your subscription. This opens Stripe's cancellation flow, where you can review your plan details and confirm the cancellation — nothing is canceled by clicking the button itself, only by confirming inside that Stripe screen. If you cancel with paid time remaining, you keep normal access to wxrks until the end of your current paid period.

⚠️ Canceling ends your subscription. If you're not sure, or you're looking to change your plan instead of leaving, use Manage Plan — or reach out to support before canceling if you have questions about what you'll lose access to.

Nothing happens when I click one of these buttons. Check whether your browser blocked the new tab — look for a pop-up-blocked icon in the address bar and allow pop-ups for wxrks, then click the button again.

I don't see these buttons at all. Only an Account Admin can see and use Manage Plan, Update Payment Method, and Cancel Account. If you need one of these changes made and you're not an Account Admin, ask your account's Account Admin, or reach out through the wxrks Community or [email protected].
